Dunlop Extends the Acclaimed Roadsmart Sportmax Range
Brussels, Belgium, May 6, 2009 – Dunlop Motorcycle has taken the hugely popular Roadsmart tyre and added new sizes to the Sportmax range, giving more riders the opportunity to experience the benefits of the all-conquering rubber.
Created to meet the needs of all-weather, year-round riders on sports-touring, naked street bikes and older supersport machines, the Roadsmart Sportmax range gives riders the confidence in their tyres to travel long distances, whatever the weather, without giving up comfort or stability, and without compromising on durability. The range has now been extended to provide the Sportmax tyre for the increasingly popular range of large capacity trail bikes used for city and long distance road riding.
The Roadsmart’s huge success with both consumers and the motorcycle media prove it has delivered on its promise to riders. The tyre’s short warm-up time offers unrivalled confidence on the street with linear handling and constant feedback on all road conditions. It has also proved to be a winner on the open road with the Sportmax’s clever construction featuring MT (Multi-Tread compounds) using the latest polymers, carbon black and silica. The adapted profile offers high speed stability and performance. The tyre gives strong levels of grip in wet and dry conditions and good shock absorption at speed with its breakthrough tread design and JLB (Jointless Belt) construction.

The Dunlop Roadsmart Sportmax range is now available in sizes 110/80 R19 (59V) and 150/70 R17 (69V) to be fitted on popular trail bikes for road use.
